The agency provides counseling services for children, adolescents, individuals, and families, for issues of substance abuse, relationship counseling, victims assistance, mediation, first offender program, and tobacco and alcohol programs.
Assistance is provided on a sliding scale basis so that finances should not be a barrier to obtaining help.
Several programs exist through NYFC – victims assistance for victims of crime, first offenders program to help guide young first offenders, and more general assistance for young people and families needing counseling. Various programs will be described on following pages.
How to find NYFC:
Neighborhood Youth and Family Counseling is located at 312 East Tyler Street, in Richardson Texas, behind the Fire and Police complex on the northeast corner of Greenville and Main St. (Belt Line). Enter the parking lot just east of the police complex off Main Street and drive straight back. You will see the sign, and the parking lot is directly across from where Abrams dead-ends into Main Street (Belt Line).
