SADIE'S SPOT

On a cold winter morning in 2010, a Corgie - Border Collie mix found an NYFC staff member and consequently, her way to our agency. The lost dog "Sadie" was hungry and craving attention. We took her in, expecting her owner to respond to our calls and take her home within a few hours. Days, then weeks passed, yet no one called or came for her. During that time, we witnessed Sadie's ability to provide comfort to some of our clients. Our Executive Director adopted her, and the staff agreed she serves as a wonderful ambassador and therapy dog for our agency. Click on Sadie's Log to read about our attempts to locate her previous owner.
