SERVICES
NYFC provides a variety of programs to meet our many of our community members’ needs. Our services are affordable and of the highest quality. Our fees are based on a sliding scale, determined by household income.
Counseling Services – our staff consists of experienced Licensed Professional Counselors and Licensed Masters of Social Work.
Youth Programs – NYFC provides several programs for young people, such as our Truancy Intervention Program, First Offender Program, Alcohol and Tobacco Awareness classes and more.
Victims' Assistance – under a contract with the city of Richardson and with support from government grants, NYFC provides services to Victims of Crime and individuals and families in crisis.
Employee Assistance – NYFC serves as the mental health services provider for city of Richardson employees and their covered family members.The Employee Assistance Program (E.A.P.) is a resource to assist employees and their families in handling personal or work related stressors. NYFC contracts with a company to provide these services.
Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) – NYFC provides a supportive and administrative role to Richardson Police Department’s peer support team and CISM program. We also offer CISM debriefings to families and businesses in the Richardson community.The purpose of this program is to provide a proactive approach to assisting emergency service personnel in managing stress that may result from involvement in a critical incident. The agency will provide critical incident stress management services at reasonable rates for other local companies and organizations that may have experienced a crime, robbery, death, or accident on the job.
